Ypsi Project: Ellen Clement (by ericarhiannon)
Ellen is from Michigan, but has traveled the country; living in California, Montana and Ohio before coming back to attend the University of Michigan. She lived in Ann Arbor for 30 years and was a Washtenaw County Public Health officer for 20 years; retiring last May (2009) she is now the executive director at the Corner Public Health Center in Ypsi. Ellen is happy that the Center is downtown where a solid relationship can be built with the community. The Corner also organizes the Corner Theatre Troupe, an awesome after school program where teenagers can learn to foster discussion of sensitive topics to their peers through performances. They’ve been really successful and are currently pursuing funding for a bigger space and a wider audience.

Ypsi Project: Patrick Reynolds (by ericarhiannon)
Patrick has lived in Ypsi for 12 years. He is originally from upstate New York, but moved when he was offered an exhibit design position at The Henry Ford. He held that position for 10 years and is now working freelance. He is also been very kind to offer his services to the Ypsi Project. He is going to design a 3D model of the space! It’s going to be amazing! He says he likes Ypsi because “You can make it your own”

The Ypsi Project Exhibit : June 5th (by mike ambs ☂) An awesome video Mike put together of the exhibit :)

A few shots from the exhibit! →

Here are a few shots I managed to get at the exhibit, a few more from Scott, and once Jami is not overwhelmed with cleaning the damage our recent storms have caused I know there will be even more awesome images.

Ypsi Project: Allison Porta (by ericarhiannon)
When Allsion came in to Beezy’s the other day to have his portrait taken for the YP it was at the precise moment we were swamped with people! She was in a bit of a hurry, so I took his photo and email and am waiting for her Ypsi story :)
